# Sending and Receiving Crypto

#### Setting Up Your Trezor <a href="#setting-up-your-trezor" id="setting-up-your-trezor"></a>

To start using your Trezor device, follow these simple steps:

1. **Unbox Your Trezor**: Make sure you have your device and the USB cable that came with it.
2. **Go to Trezor.io/start**: This is your starting point. Choose your Trezor model to proceed with the setup.
3. **Install Trezor Suite**: Download and install the Trezor Suite, the official interface for managing your crypto assets. It's available for desktop and as a web app.
4. **Connect Your Trezor**: Use the USB cable to connect your Trezor device to your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
5. **Backup Your Recovery Seed**: During the setup, you'll be given a recovery seed. Write it down and keep it in a safe place. This is crucial for recovering your assets if your device is lost or damaged.

**Receiving Crypto**

1. **Open Trezor Suite**: Connect your device and open the Trezor Suite.

4. **Share Your Address**: Give this address to the person sending you cryptocurrency.

**Sending Crypto**

2. **Choose the Cryptocurrency**: Select the cryptocurrency you wish to send.
3. **Enter the Recipient's Address**: Carefully input the address you're sending crypto to.
4. **Confirm and Send**: Review the details, and use your Trezor device to confirm the transaction.
